| Favorite Place(s): I really enjoy adventure, so any place new is always a favorite. From the past: Favorite trail- Milford track in New Zealand, Mana Loa trail in Hawaii and Mount Robson in Canada; Favorite big city- Copenhagen, than Boston or San Francisco- honorable mention to Paris; favorite ride- Highway 1 from Monterey to Cambria, and Stunt Road/Mulholland/Yerba Buena in the Santa Monica Mountains | ||||||||
| A Goal(s): sub 10 hour Ironman; Ironman finish at age 100 (really!); 75 year wedding anniversary; to spend some time on every continent; learn to sing | ||||||||
| Brag Box:•••Lessons learned from triathlon helped me save my son's life. My son was in intensive care last year due to cardiac failure, and I "coached" him to a state of calmness and helped him lower his heart rate by 35 beats per minute, which at the time was the difference in surviving or not. |
