about Team Kman: Whoa...many
to list. The people are awesome and fun. The interests and
participation in triathlons is of a high standard. What I
love the most, is how Kass has these post-training picnics.
Oh, my, gosh...they're awesome. The energy is fun and very
positive. |

gardening, studying French, making my house a home. I love

Place(s): Tahiti, the island
of Moorea. Been there 5 times. My tattoos
come from there. I also love France. Been there 5 times as
well. The cheese, fois gras, wine, the culture, and the history
keep me going back. Oh, and the people have always been very,
very nice to me. |

| Brag Box: How
I got into triathlons. I was in Tahiti one year on holiday.
Just happened to be there during the Aitoman Triathlon. It
was a big year for big named triathletes. The French team,
consisting of 3 men (Pascal Pich, Etienne Caprin, and Deni)
wouldn't leave me alone. The pranks were flying between all
of us. For the entire vacation, I couldn't stop laughing with
these 3 wonderful athletes. Turns out, they're all world champions
in Ultra distance triathlons and Ironman distance races competing
in places like Enbrunman and Nice World Cup. The week that
I returned from my trip, I started training with SLO ROADRUNNERS
and their wonderful Coach Roger Warnes. That was 3 1/2 years
ago, and I still train with them. As for my friendship with
the French triathletes, I'm still very close to Pascal and
Etienne and receive phone calls from them monthly. Next October,
I will assist Pascal in competing in the Double Ironman on
the East Coast. |
