as the Team Events.
New Business
Incorporation - Advisory member, Mike Bickel, gave the board
the pros and cons on incorporation as a non-profit group. This topic will be
readdressed as more
information is gathered. It was decided, however, that member waivers need
to be collected and that will be happening at our next meeting.
Complimentary/Sponsored Membership - The Board decided
to keep the free membership level to one for gold sponsors. Sponsored and "scholarshiped" memberships
were discussed. The
board felt did not want anyone to be denied access to the the benefits of the
team because of a lack of resourses. The board also discussed the idea of having
four spots for elite sponsored athletes, but there was not a concensus on how
to award such complimentary memberships. This topic is still open for discussion.
